Ritz Paris reopens

-

THE RITZ PARIS HAS OPENED its doors after nearly four years of refurbishment works.

The palatial Place Vendôme hotel had been due to return in March, but this was delayed by a fire on the top floor in January.

Rooms have been expanded, dropping the total from 159 to 142, with 15 of the 71 suites being named after previous guests, such as Charlie Chaplin and F Scott Fitzgerald. It also boasts the world’s first Chanel spa.

The redesign was led by Thierry W Despont, who previously revamped London’s Dorchester and New York’s Carlyle. Opened in 1898, the property is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World. ritzparis.com
