Primera Air plans UK transat­lantic routes

NORDIC CAR­RIER PRIMERA AIR is to launch transat­lantic routes from Birm­ing­ham, Stansted and Paris CDG next year. The air­line will of­fer daily flights to New York Ne­wark from all three bases start­ing in April, as well as four flights per week to Bos­ton.

Ser­vices will be op­er­ated by wifi-equipped A321­neo air­craft fit­ted with econ­omy and Pre­mium seat­ing. An­dri M In­golf­s­son, pres­i­dent and chair­man of Primera Air, said: “Ow­ing to [the] un­matched ef­fi­ciency of th­ese new­gen­er­a­tion air­craft, we will be able to of­fer un­prece­dented prices to pas­sen­gers from France and the UK to the US.”
