The Na­tional Gallery spe­cialises in Western Euro­pean paint­ing from the 13th to 19th cen­turies, by the likes of Da Vinci, Ver­meer, Con­sta­ble, Monet and Van Gogh. Events can be held in both the pic­ture gal­leries (such as the red-painted Cen­tral Hall, 200 stand­ing), where del­e­gates can eat canapés and drink cham­pagne in full view of the pres­ti­gious works, or in the ded­i­cated con­fer­ence rooms of the Sains­bury Wing.

Over­all, the gallery has 16 func­tion spa­ces giv­ing com­pa­nies the op­tion to choose from 12 gal­leries, three con­fer­ence rooms and one au­di­to­rium seat­ing up to 328 peo­ple. The Barry Rooms, which can seat 150 for a ban­quet un­der an im­pres­sive domed ceil­ing, are dec­o­rated with mar­ble pil­lars and works by Bri­tish artists. Sum­mer re­cep­tions of 100 peo­ple can be held on the Por­tico Ter­race fac­ing Nel­son’s Col­umn. Al­ter­na­tively, you could have an early-morn­ing power break­fast of up to 40 guests on the in­door Mo­saic Ter­race.
