revamped and expanded its long-haul economy catering. The airline now offers a four-course meal with starter, main, dessert, and cheese and biscuits – plus a second meal or substantial snack, dependent upon the length of the flight. Also new is an enhanced snack selection, with items such as pretzels and a welcome drink, Graze movie snack box and Magnum ice creams for passengers on the longer flights. Other catering improvements include a hot breakfast service on longer overnight journeys, while complimentary drinks continue to be served from the bar. “Our menu has been developed to be full of flavour at 35,000ft,” says Carolina Martinoli, director of brand and customer experience. The new offering launched on January 17 and menus will change every six months.
