TELIA CAR­RIER EN­HANCES LATAM CON­NEC­TIV­ITY WITH NEW NET­WORK POP

Telia Car­rier has boosted con­nec­tiv­ity to Latam by es­tab­lish­ing a new net­work point of pres­ence, pro­vid­ing back­haul to the OJUS ca­ble land­ing sta­tion in Hol­ly­wood, Florida, with re­silient net­work op­tions.

The new net­work in­fra­struc­ture pro­vides net­work op­tions for cus­tomers wish­ing con­nec­tiv­ity to the NAP of the Amer­i­cas, Mi­ami, and Equinix MI3, Boca Ra­ton, data cen­tres and in­ter­net ex­change (IX) points as well as Telia Car­rier’s AS1299 global IP back­bone. “Telia Car­rier is ded­i­cated to de­liv­er­ing re­li­able and se­cure con­nec­tiv­ity to ad­dress the con­tin­ued growth of band­width de­mand in the re­gion,” said Art Kazmier­czak, di­rec­tor of busi­ness de­vel­op­ment, Amer­i­cas at Telia Car­rier. “The land­ing sta­tion in Hol­ly­wood pro­vides Telia clients ac­cess to im­por­tant ca­ble sys­tems.”
