Percentage of global VPN circuits over Ethernet by month
The study broke out the service delivery process into standard intervals, the most significant of which started when the provisioning team accepted the order, and ended when the circuit was in place and ready for use. Performance varied considerably, with carriers in the fastest nations like China and Vietnam taking half the time of those in Argentina, the slowest nation. However, the variation in the middle was less pronounced, with third ranked Japan coming in only 22% faster than thirteenth ranked South Africa. The variation between individual carriers was much more substantial, with deliverytimes for one carrier often double that of another in a given country.
