EK and Qan­tas join forces

Emi­rates Air­line and Aus­tralian national car­rier Qan­tas have joined forces to pro­vide seam­less con­nec­tiv­ity and a range of ben­e­fits for pas­sen­gers trav­el­ling be­tween Europe and Aus­tralia via the UAE. Emi­rates pas­sen­gers trav­el­ling from the Mid­dle East, Europe and North Africa will be able to con­nect with reg­u­lar on­ward flights to Aus­tralian des­ti­na­tions in­clud­ing Ade­laide, Bris­bane, Perth, Melbourne and Syd­ney. Pas­sen­gers trav­el­ling from Aus­tralia will have one-stop ac­cess to 65 des­ti­na­tions in the Mid­dle East, North Africa, the UK and Europe via the Emi­rates net­work. The part­ner­ship also means fre­quent fly­ers with ei­ther air­line will be able to earn points, re­deem points on flights and ac­cess the lounges of both Emi­rates and Qan­tas. The joint net­work has the world’s largest fleet of Air­bus A380 air­craft.
