Many travellers have avoided Egypt for the last few years because of the ongoing instability in the country – you never know when an incident is going to render the area you plan to visit inaccessible. So the clever folk at Abercrombie and Kent have removed the hurdle preventing people from visiting the country by providing a safety net to protect customers’ booking in the event of any unrest or disturbances. Anyone booking a tailor-made itinerary to Egypt with the luxury tour operator can now postpone their booking for up to two years if any disturbances are reported in the British press up to 48 hours before their planned visit, at no additional cost. The Egypt Safety Net is part of the company’s efforts to bring tourists back to Egypt to experience it without the crowds.
