Hey! Shut that door, you’re letting a draft in!
Brrr… Okay, I’ve got some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that due to adverse weather conditions, all flights have been grounded. It doesn’t look like we’ll be going anywhere for a while. The good news is that this gives us more time to chat about the latest issue of Guru! So what did you think? Was it everything you hoped it would be and more? (New Year’s resolution: I’ve got to stop asking silly questions – of course it was!) Space tourism, sleep deprivation, and the logistics of being Santa… this might just be the best issue yet (certainly one of the more festive). It’s hard not to get a little emotional *sniff*. With readership increasing and exciting new developments like our podcast series and the launch of the world’s first science communication
cooperative, we just can’t wait to see what 2014 holds in store. We started with a mission: to deliver compelling content but without the ‘geek’ factor you get in a regular science publication. We’re well on our way, but if it weren’t for you, dear readers, where would we be? Nowhere, that’s where! Your support, feedback, and submissions make our humble ‘science-lifestyle’ venture possible. Remember, we’re a crowd sourced publication, so if you have an idea for an article you want
published – just give us a shout! Wait, what’s that I hear? Sleigh Bells? It’s a Christmas miracle: Santa’s on his way to give you a lift. Who needs jet engines when you have flying caribou (a.k.a. reindeer)? See you on Monday 3rd of February for issue 16, but until then…
“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night.”
