Work Ves­sel Sold For US$38m

Otto Marine Lim­ited, an off­shore marine com­pany spe­cial­iz­ing in build­ing off­shore sup­port ves­sels, ship char­ter­ing and off­shore ser­vices, has sold Oranda 1, a 75me­ter work main­te­nance ves­sel. No in­di­ca­tion of com­mu­ni­ca­tions fa­cil­i­ties were men­tioned at the time of go­ing to print. Head­quar­tered in Sin­ga­pore, the Com­pany owns and op­er­ates one of the largest ship­yards in Batam, In­done­sia and is one of the most so­phis­ti­cated yards in Asia Pa­cific. The yard is build­ing to DNV and Nor­we­gian class stan­dards, pri­mar­ily with cus­tomers such as deep sea and off­shore op­er­a­tors and equip­ment com­pa­nies who pro­vide lo­gis­tics sup­port and off­shore ser­vices.
