WHAT IS PERFECTION?
Piaget has launched a new global advertising campaign that features the tagline ‘Perfection in Life’ and asks leading international figures to define their personal notion of perfection – with the concept placing Piaget watch and jewellery pieces central to the idea of perfect products for perfect people in perfect places.
The 20 ‘perfectionists’ invited by Piaget to communicate their ideal are ambassadors and friends of the brand that excel in their field and who have already dedicated themselves to the pursuit of perfection.
Amongst the first candidates to reveal their passions are Yves Piaget, descendant of the watchmaking dynasty and now chairman of Piaget SA; Facundo Pieres, the polo champion and Piaget ambassador; leading Portuguese actress Maria João Bastos; Yara, Lebanese singer and Arab music star; Pablo Heras-Casado, 2014 Conductor of the Year and head of St Luke’s Orchestra in New York and Dorothée Gilbert, Principal Dancer of the Paris Opera Ballet.
The campaign hopes to reflect all the different facets of perfection that can be experienced, whether a moment or landscape, or a feeling that embodies the idea in the eyes of the participants. With this in mind, ballet dancer Dorothée Gilbert equates perfection with harmony, while Yves Piaget reveals that only nature is perfect.
As the campaign rolls forward, further participants will be unveiled and asked to share their impressions of perfection through social media.
