Such a Star

Zenith has expanded their Star 33mm collection with three glittering new additions for 2014 release. In comparison to their predecessors, Zenith’s latest timepieces are remarkably simple by design, yet their clean and delightfully stripped back appearance add timeless elegance. The three models are brought to the collection to offer variety and we see there is a design for the daytime, an evening watch, and also a gala watch – each model incorporates VVS diamonds.

The gala style watch reigns supremely as it shines with a staggering 765 diamonds totalling 4.49 carats. They adorn the case, bezel, dial and pin buckle and there is simply no room for anything else but spectacular finesse and glamour on this model. On the daytime and evening watch we see a more sober affair as the diamonds are reigned in for a more subtle and understated appeal. The former has a dewy mother-of-pearl dial set with 12 brilliant cut-hour-markers that indicate the hour, whilst the inner bezel in also lined with 72 VVS diamonds. The evening watch, is vamped up a little more as it shines a little brighter with an entire bezel set with 104 brilliant-cut VVS diamonds as well as the buckle displaying equal beauty with a further 42 diamonds approximating 0.28 carats. All three models run off an Elite 681 automatic movement with a drumming frequency of 28,800vph and posses a minimum 50-hour power reserve. Finally, in addition to the stamp of the Cótes de Geneve motif signifying high quality on the oscillating weight, these ultra feminine, seductively beautiful new Star 33mm additions have enough subtlety and extravagance to suit any occasions.
