Vacheron Constantin – Harmony Chrono Monopoussoir

Plaza Watch International - - Sihh Roundup -

I love what they do at Vacheron Constantin these days – there is such attention to detail and respect for the past, but then celebrating its 260th year in business, there are few firms today that can match Vacheron for incident-packed history. A few years ago Vacheron launched a cushion-cased watch called the American 21, which had a winding crown at one of the corners. I really like that watch so anything that pays homage to the cushion case is fine by me and if I had to select one of what Vacheron has named its Harmony collection, it would be the elegant Chrono Monopoussoir. The single push piece chronometer is such a chic interpretation of one of watchmaking’s most popular complications, that it’s a pity one does not see more of them. NF
