Whether you’re a fan of princesses or su­per he­roes, there’s no short­age of char­ac­ters when sailing with Dis­ney Cruise Line. With sched­uled op­por­tu­ni­ties to in­ter­act with Dis­ney char­ac­ters through­out the sail­ings, fam­i­lies can also ex­pect spon­ta­neous char­ac­ter mo­ments aboard the ship as well on Dis­ney’s pri­vate is­land, Cast­away Cay.

From Mickey Mouse to Don­ald Duck and even Olaf, the friendly snow­man from Frozen, fam­i­lies can keep up with char­ac­ter ap­pear­ances via the Per­sonal Nav­i­ga­tor or the Dis­ney Cruise Line Nav­i­ga­tor app.

Other spe­cial char­ac­ter events take place on se­lect sail­ings, such as the Royal Court Royal Tea with lit­tle ones be­ing crowned princesses and royal knights be­fore en­joy­ing af­ter­noon tea with both mod­ern and clas­sic Dis­ney princesses (ad­di­tional fees ap­ply).

In 2018, se­lect sail­ings on Dis­ney Fan­tasy will fea­ture Star Wars Day at Sea, which in­cludes a themed deck party and fire­works dis­play, char­ac­ter in­ter­ac­tions, photo op­por­tu­ni­ties, and themed food and drink menus. From Chew­bacca to Stormtroop­ers, don’t forget your cam­era for this unique sailing.

Sep­a­rate from the Star Wars Day at Sea, Dis­ney Fan­tasy is also now home to Star Wars: Com­mand Post, an im­mer­sive space where par­tic­i­pants can train with mem­bers of the re­sis­tance, in­clud­ing BB-8. Train­ing in­cludes mis­sions against the First Or­der.

In ad­di­tion, Mar­vel fans can sail with Cap­tain Amer­ica, Iron Man, Thor, and Spi­der-Man on se­lect sail­ings and en­joy ap­pear­ances by Star-Lord, Gamora, and Groot from Guardians

of the Gal­axy. An im­mer­sive show fea­tur­ing Doc­tor Strange en­lists guests to help bat­tle against the Dark Di­men­sion.
