The Best $ 10 You’ll Ever Spend

Porthole Cruise Magazine - - The Insider -

“By the dawn’s early light” on September 14, 1814, Francis Scott Key stood on the deck of a British warship in Baltimore Harbor, looked through a spyglass, and saw the U.S. flag still flying high above Fort McHenry after the night-long British bombardment. The stirring sight inspired him to pen the poem that would eventually become our National Anthem. The flag still flies high over the fort — now a national monument — which you can tour for just $10 admission.
