Zarif, Aus­trian diplo­mat dis­cuss bi­lat­eral ties

Iran’s For­eign Min­is­ter Mo­ham­mad Javad Zarif and Aus­trian Sec­re­tary Gen­eral for For­eign Af­fairs Michael Lin­har dis­cussed is­sues of mu­tual in­ter­est at a meet­ing in Tehran.

Dur­ing the Sun­day meet­ing, the two sides con­ferred on is­sues re­lat­ing to the im­ple­men­ta­tion of the Iran nu­clear deal and the need for all par­ties to ad­here to this agree­ment, IRNA re­ported.

They also re­viewed the lat­est re­gional and in­ter­na­tional devel­op­ments, es­pe­cially the on­go­ing sit­u­a­tion in Iraq and Syria, urg­ing col­lec­tive ef­forts of all coun­tries in com­bat­ing ter­ror­ism and ex­trem­ism.
