Iran animation ‘Nobody’ to go on screen in US
Iran animation ‘Nobody’ is scheduled for screening at the 15th Red Wasp International Film Festival in the US.
Directed by Elham Toroqi, the nine-minute animation will represent Iran at the event, according to ifilmtv.ir.
‘Nobody’ is about a white cat living in city of black residents. The cat tries hard to get food but no one seems bothered to give any.
The animation won the Special Jury Award at the 11th Animanima International Animation Festival in Serbia in 2017.
Founded in 2004, the Red Wasp Film Festival is dedicated to bringing quality films to the Brazos Valley region and increasing appreciation of film and filmmaking. The event’s 2018 edition will begin on May 6 in the Brazos Valley, Texas, the US.
