Ghana­ian Trade Delegation Vis­its KSC

TEHRAN – A trade delegation from Ghana paid a visit to Khouzes­tan Steel Com­pany and con­ferred with the com­pany’s of­fi­cials.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, a trade delegation from trade de­vel­op­ment or­ga­ni­za­tion of Ghana vis­ited the KSC fac­tory and held talks with the ex­ports man­ager of the com­pany Mr. Mo­ham­mad Hos­sein Emam and the head of plan­ning and mar­ket­ing depart­ment Dr. Ma­jid Abiat.

Dur­ing the talks, both sides ex­plored ways for mu­tual co­op­er­a­tion and pro­vi­sion of iron­ware needs of Ghana for their de­vel­op­men­tal pro­grams.

The delegation vis­ited steel-man­u­fac­tur­ing site as well as other pro­duc­tion units of the KSC.

KSC is work­ing to ex­pand its ex­ports mar­kets and find­ing new mar­kets. The Ghana­ian delegation is the first one from the African coun­try.

Two months ago, a Ghana­ian delegation led by Ghana’s First Vice Pres­i­dent met Ira­nian of­fi­cials in Tehran to boost eco­nomic co­op­er­a­tion.

Ghana with more than 27m pop­u­la­tion is lo­cated in the west of Africa and it is one of the ma­jor mem­bers of the Or­ga­ni­za­tion of African Unity.
