Iran News - - DOMESTIC -

TEHRAN – There is a unique factory in the world whose staff are mostly disabled and the job is the priority for enabling the disabled people and it is a new definition for resilient economy.

According to reports, 92 percent of Firooz Hygienic Group are disabled. The group is located in Qazvin and it has set a new trend and method for hiring the disabled people. It is the biggest baby sanitary producing group in the Middle East. The officials of the group have set some policies and they are determined to hire the disabled people. The officials use the disabled people in the production line based on their capabilities and physical defect.

Some staff of the group who are not disabled are the relatives of the disabled.

Seyed Mohammad Mousavi, the CEO of Disability Association of Tavana, said that the association has more than 3,000 disabled members.

He said that the association looks at the capitalism and investment as a divine blessing and the officials of the group and the association do not pursue accumulating money and wealth and they just think of the humanitarian aspect of business.

Mousavi reiterated that the association encourages friendship and kindness among its staff who are disabled.

Meanwhile manager of Firooz Hygienic Group Mr. Davood Esmaeili said that 530 people who are active in the group are disabled and the production of the group has grown 20 percent on average annually. He added the group produces 140 types of sanitary and hygienic products by its disabled staff and its products are exported to the Middle East, Persian Gulf and Caspian Sea states.
