BSI Sets Forex Trans­ac­tions Records

TEHRAN – Bank Saderat Iran has set a new record for national banks for the num­ber of forex trans­ac­tions.

Ac­cord­ing to the re­ports, Bank Saderat’s forex trans­ac­tions grew by 370 per­cent in last Ira­nian calendar year which is a record among the banks in the coun­try as the trans­ac­tions earned the bank more than 4,000b ri­als prof­its.

Bank Saderat which is con­sid­ered one of Iran’s old­est banks has the most branches abroad among Ira­nian banks as it has branches in 11 Euro­pean and Asian coun­tries.

The bank re­leased its fi­nan­cial bal­ance which was pre­pared based on the Cen­tral Bank and in­ter­na­tional stan­dards. It in­di­cated that the bank has set a record for last year forex trans­ac­tions.

The re­port shows that the bank has posted 370 per­cent growth in the forex trans­ac­tions worth 3,981b ri­als. BSI sets such a record that other Ira­nian banks record have not reached even half of its record.

The CEO of the bank has said that the for­eign branches of the bank have re­sumed their in­ter­na­tional trans­ac­tions after the JCPOA.

BSI has 22 branches abroad. The bank de­creased its losses by 25 per­cent last year and it brought peace and sta­bil­ity in its per­for­mance.
