BSI Sets Forex Transactions Records
TEHRAN – Bank Saderat Iran has set a new record for national banks for the number of forex transactions.
According to the reports, Bank Saderat’s forex transactions grew by 370 percent in last Iranian calendar year which is a record among the banks in the country as the transactions earned the bank more than 4,000b rials profits.
Bank Saderat which is considered one of Iran’s oldest banks has the most branches abroad among Iranian banks as it has branches in 11 European and Asian countries.
The bank released its financial balance which was prepared based on the Central Bank and international standards. It indicated that the bank has set a record for last year forex transactions.
The report shows that the bank has posted 370 percent growth in the forex transactions worth 3,981b rials. BSI sets such a record that other Iranian banks record have not reached even half of its record.
The CEO of the bank has said that the foreign branches of the bank have resumed their international transactions after the JCPOA.
BSI has 22 branches abroad. The bank decreased its losses by 25 percent last year and it brought peace and stability in its performance.
