Iran, EU Up Food Trade by 94%
FARS* - Food trade exchanges between Iran and the European Union have increased considerably over the last two years, Head of EU’s Agriculture and Rural Development Commission Phil Hogan announced.
“Iran-EU trade balance has increased by 94 percent,” Hogan said.
He reiterated that Tehran and the EU will have prosperous cooperation in the future.
Hogan said that the EU is determined to continue its economic interactions with Iran within the JCPOA framework and the visiting mission is hoping to increase bilateral ties to the benefit of both sides.
Hogan, leading a 70-member delegation from 19 European countries is in the Iranian capital to explore ways to enhance bilateral relations between the EU and Tehran.
