TEHRAN (FNA) - Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sanaee underlined that Tehran and Moscow are planning to considerably boost the volume of their trade exchanges.

“We believe that the volume of trade transactions between Iran and Russia should reach $10b annually and we hope to attain this goal given the measures which have been adopted, especially in the energy fields,” Sanaee said, addressing the Iranian students in Moscow.

He noted that the volume of trade ties between the two countries increased by 70 percent last year compared with the previous year, adding that Iran’s exports to Russia also increased 38% in the past 6 months.
