Iran Oil Ex­port To Europe Stands At 9.3b Eu­ros

TEHRAN - Iran’s oil ex­port to Europe dur­ing the 11 months of 2017 (from Jan­uary to Novem­ber) has al­most dou­bled and stood at 9.3 bil­lion eu­ros com­par­ing to the same pe­riod in 2016.

The lat­est sta­tis­tics from the Euro­pean Com­mis­sion’s news site (Euro­stat) show that the 28 mem­bers of Euro­pean Union im­ported Ira­nian oil worth 9.3 bil­lion eu­ros dur­ing the 11-month pe­riod.

How­ever, Iran’s oil ex­port to Europe from Jan­uary to Novem­ber 2019 had stood at 4.7 bil­lion eu­ros.

Italy is the largest im­porter of oil from Iran dur­ing the 11 months of 2017 with 3 bil­lion eu­ros of im­ports. France is in sec­ond po­si­tion with 2.2 bil­lion eu­ros of im­ports. Greece, Spain and the Nether­lands are in 3rd to 5th po­si­tion.
