Iran Receives Black Box Data of Sanchi
TASNIM* - The black box data of the Iranian oil tanker “Sanchi” that sank in the East China Sea earlier this month after burning for eight days was delivered to Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization, the deputy head of the organization announced.
Hadi Haqshenas said the data of the black boxes of Sanchi and the Chinese vessel, CF Crystal, that collided with it as well as the interviews conducted with the crewmembers of the vessel have been received by Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization.
He added that the information is planned to be used and discussed in specialized committees to examine the reason behind the tragic incident.
Sanchi, with 32 people on board, collided with the Chinese freight ship in the East China Sea on January 6 and sank after burning for eight days.
