Construction of Water Reservoir For Supply of Water in Naeen
TEHRAN – Water and Waste Water Company of Naeen in Isfahan Province has constructed a 2,000-cubic-meter capacity water reservoir in the town to supply sustainable drinking water for dwellers of 1440 units in the Mehr Housing.
The CEO of the company Mr. Hassan Miri said that in compliance with the passive defense measures, the company constructed a 2,000-cubic-meter capacity water reservoir for people who live in Mehr Housing region.
He added that the water reservoir has been built traditionally as the people of the town used to utilize such reservoirs in the past.
Miri reiterated that the project was carried out through the grand water supply project of Isfahan, adding that people of Naeen have been struggling for providing their drinking water due to the recent draught in the town.
He went on to say that the water consumption per capita in Naeen is currently 110 liters per day and urged the people to consume water efficiently.
Miri noted that the amount of water waste is 10 percent and by management and renovating the water supply systems, the amount of the water waste has been significantly reduced to 10 percent.
More than 38,000 people live in Naeen and 14,863 subscribers enjoy water supply.
