TEHRAN — A top lawmaker said on Tuesday that Washington’s intention to put the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) on terror list will be a threat against national security, ILNA reported.

Hossein Naqavi Hosseini, a spokesman with the parliamentary national security and foreign policy committee, said that the IRGC would still continue fighting Washington’s destabilizing activities in the region.

He also hailed the country’s lawmakers for voting unanimously in favor of a bill to counter the “U.S. terrorist and adventurist acts in the region”.
