Knowledge-Based Companies to Receive Currency Services: CEO
Knowledge-based companies will receive currency services. For this purpose, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was inked between Bank Mellat and Innovation and Prosperity Fund, Public Relations Dept. of Bank Mellat reported.
Under the MOU inked between Dr. Hadi Akhlaghi Feyzasar Chief Executive of Bank Mellat and Dr. Behzad Soltani Chairman of the Board of Directors of Innovation and Prosperity Fund, this bank will grant various types of banking services and facilities to the Fund and knowledge-based companies within the framework of current rules and regulations of the bank.
The MOU is valid for three years which will increase the level of reciprocal cooperation between Bank Mellat and Innovation and Prosperity Fund, the bank added.
Knowledge-based companies under the agreement are defined to the firms and institutions that lay the preliminary ground for spread of innovation and invention and commercialization of results of research and development (R&D) including design, production of goods and services in the field of top technologies and startups with the high added value.
For his part, Dr. Hadi Akhlaghi Feyzasar CEO of Bank Mellat termed the Fund as a value-creation unit and added: “Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution has placed special emphasis on the concept of resistance economy in recent years, so that materialization of objectives of this concept strictly hinges on paying due attention to the concept of knowledge-based economy.”
In the end, he said: “Bank Mellat is committed to offer quality services to knowledge-based companies and will make all its utmost efforts to support these startups properly.”
