Ira­nian schol­ars at­tend con­fer­ence on Cau­casian folk cul­ture in Turkey

TEHRAN — Sev­eral Ira­nian schol­ars are at­tend­ing the 1st In­ter­na­tional Cau­casian Folk Cul­ture Congress un­der­way at Kafkas Univer­sity in the Turk­ish city of Kars.

Schol­ars Mo­ham­mad Hariri Ak­bari, Ma­jid Teimu­ri­far and Mo­ham­mad-Taqi Sat­tari are among the par­tic­i­pat­ing schol­ars from Iran, the univer­sity has an­nounced.

Other schol­ars are at­tend­ing from Turkey,

Azer­bai­jan, Rus­sia and Ge­or­gia.

Ak­bari is sched­uled to speak about the con­nec­tions be­tween re­al­ity and tales, and Teimu­ri­far will de­liver a speech about the mu­sic of the Cau­ca­sus civ­i­liza­tion at the con­fer­ence.

Sat­tari’s ar­ti­cle is about wa­ter re­sources in the Cau­ca­sus.

The congress, which will come to an end to­day, has been or­ga­nized by Kafkas Univer­sity to pro­mote re­search on the Cau­casian re­gion.
