Fes­ti­val Tous Courts hon­ors “Re­touch”

TEHRAN – Ira­nian direc­tor Kaveh Mazheri’s ac­claimed movie “Re­touch” re­ceived the special jury prize for the best film at the 35th Fes­ti­val Tous Courts, an in­ter­na­tional short film fes­ti­val in Aix-en-Provence, France on Satur­day.

The film is about a young woman whose hus­band is trapped un­der a bar­bell dur­ing a work­out, but she de­clines to save him and, con­se­quently, he dies.

“Writ­ten/Un­writ­ten” by Adrian Silis­teanu from Ro­ma­nia re­ceived the Grand Prix of the fes­ti­val, while “Why I Wrote the Bi­ble” by Alexan­dre Steiger from France won the au­di­ence award.
