‘Sanc­tions to have no im­pact on sea trans­porta­tion’

TEHRAN — Iran’s Ports and Mar­itime Or­ga­ni­za­tion (PMO) Head Mo­ham­mad Ras­tad an­nounced that the uni­lat­eral and cruel sanc­tions posed by the U.S. against Iran will have no im­pact on the coun­try’s sea trans­porta­tion, IRIB quoted him as say­ing on Sun­day.

Mak­ing the re­marks dur­ing a con­fer­ence on pas­sive de­fense, the of­fi­cial ex­plained that PMO would im­prove var­i­ous sce­nar­ios to tackle the sanc­tions and meet do­mes­tic de­mands.

White House has re­stored all the sanc­tions against Iran, which were lifted un­der the 2015 nu­clear deal.
