Highly-Spe­cial­ized Can­cer Di­ag­no­sis Hos­pi­tal to Launch in Coop. with BSI

The most highly-spe­cial­ized hos­pi­tal for the di­ag­no­sis and treat­ment of can­cer in the coun­try will be put into op­er­a­tion in co­op­er­a­tion with Bank Saderat Iran (BSI), the Pub­lic Re­la­tions Dept. of the bank re­ported.

The first phase of the most ad­vanced and equipped hos­pi­tal for the di­ag­no­sis and treat­ment of can­cer, cost­ing 250 bil­lion ri­als, will be launched in west­ern Tehran in very near fu­ture.

This hos­pi­tal has been equipped with 250 hos­pi­tal beds named ‘Sala­mat-e Farda’ which will start its work in the field of di­ag­no­sis and treat­ment of can­cer.

Up to the present time, ap­prox. 70 per­cent of fa­cil­i­ties re­quired for the con­struc­tion of the bank has been pro­vided by the bank, the re­port added.

Hamid-Reza Rah­bar Deputy CEO of BSI in West­ern Tehran Branch re­vealed the es­tab­lish­ment of a booth, in­stal­la­tion of an Au­to­mated Teller Ma­chine (ATM), POS sys­tem as well as pre­sent­ing all bank­ing ser­vices in the Treat­ment Cen­ter.

Also, Seyed Reza Hos­seini of founder of the hos­pi­tal, while ex­press­ing his thanks to the co­op­er­a­tion of Bank Saderat Iran in launch­ing this cen­ter, seized this op­por­tu­nity to the role of this bank in con­struct­ing and equip­ping this hos­pi­tal and added, “this spe­cial­ized Cen­ter will start its ac­tiv­ity with 100 hos­pi­tal beds in line with di­ag­nos­ing and treat­ing can­cer dis­ease.”

This treat­ment cen­ter is equipped with the world’s most mod­ern med­i­cal equip­ment and ma­chin­ery, he said, adding, “once this treat­ment cen­ter is launched, more­over pre­vent­ing from cap­i­tal flight, gi­ant steps will be taken in line with re­duc­ing med­i­cal and treat­ment costs of pa­tients.”
