Er­bil FC signs two new play­ers

Er­bil FC, Iraq’s four time Cham­pi­ons have in­tro­duced two new play­ers. The team have an­nounced in a con­fer­ence that they look for­ward to reach­ing top po­si­tion in the Iraqi league, and are pre­par­ing for the AFC Cham­pi­ons Cup.

Barzan Sherzad is a foot­baller from Er­bil city and played for Han­dren FC and Zakho FC in Kur­dis­tan and Iraqi leagues be­fore. He is ex­pected to strengthen the de­fend­ing line of the Er­bil team along with lo­cal play­ers. He has been of­fered to wear Num­ber 29 jersey.

Mustafa Ah­mad is an­other young player who has played for Al-Karkh FC, Al-Masafi, and Al-Qua Jawiyah in the Iraqi league be­fore. Due to hav­ing less chance to play as a main squad in his pre­vi­ous team, he de­cided to move to Er­bil. He has been of­fered to wear Num­ber 12 jersey.
