Kurdistan’s Football Team Competes In Marseille
the teams that are supposed to participate in the competition include: Catalonia, Provence, Tebit, Ladak, Nagaland, Zinjibar, Britang, Laponi, Ende, Bondikere, and Brianj.
The 12 teams will be divided in to three groups; each group with four teams. The group matches will run on June 23 lasting for four days. The semifinal games will run on 26-27 June and the final match on 29 June.
Kurdistan's team has taken part in sev- eral competitions previously, including Nakba Championship in Palestine, and VIVA World Cup, which is an international football tournament organized by the NF Board, an umbrella association for nations unaffiliated with FIFA. The Kurdistan Region has taken part in VIVA World Cup four times. In 2008, Kurdistan secured fourth place, but went on to become runners-up in 2009 and 2010 and eventually hosted and won the title in 2012.
