The English Access Micro scholarship Program provides a two-year English language scholarship to disadvantaged Iraqi high school students of all backgrounds. By improving their English language skills, the students increase their ability to compete for international education and employment opportunities and participate in cultural exchange.

This is the third course ever opened in Sulaimaniyah province. The course indicates US government’s eagerness for strengthening the skills of Iraqi youths.

English language education initiatives and the English Access Micro scholarship Program, in particular, support the Strategic Framework Agreement between the United States and Iraq by building people to people ties through cultural and educational exchanges.
