Al-Tahwhid abducts 40 Kurds in Aleppo
The Kurdish citizen of Aleppo, a city in the north of Syria, have recently been targeted by the AlTawhid Brigade (Liwaa Al-Tawhid) amid generalized unrest in the area.
Over the last few days, the group has kidnapping 40 Kurds in the city’s Kurdish neighborhoods.
The Civat website states that two of the people abducted by the group has now been set free, while around 40 other Kurds are still being held.
The website indicates that the 40 Kurdish abductees have been tortured.
The Al-Tawhid brigade is a unit of the Free Syrian Army which has mainly been engaged in the battle for Aleppo.
