Demirtas: Kurds deserves practice self-governing rights
Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) co-chair Selahattin Demirtas said “Our aim is not to wins seats at the Municipality Elections, but we want Kurds to gain self-governing ability,”
Concerning listening to people in Turkey, Demirtas, said that the process of listening to people have been conducted and agreed by Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Before the operations of AntiCorruption started in January, 17, 2013, Demirtas stated that the government was listening to the opposition sides and Erdogan knew about it. But after the operations began, Erdogan denied he has been aware of the process of listening.
Concerning the operation of Koma Civakên Kurdistan (KCK), Demirtas said that the Golan Movement people have conducted operations against KCK while Erdogan was aware of it.
The Golan movement is a transnational Islamic civic society movement inspired by Golan’s teachings. His teachings about hizmet (altruistic service to the "common good") have attracted a large number of supporters in Turkey, Central Asia, and increasingly in other parts of the world.
