The second Erbil Flower Expo was staged in Erbil between February 26 and March 1, 2014 at the Erbil International Exhibition Centre.

Around 100 exhibitors from 30 countries were represented along with Erbil Parks Design Directorate.

The Erbil International Exhibition Centre was decorated with the hundreds of flowers and plants showcased at the expo.

Jalal Ahmed Barzinji, the Director General of Erbil Parks Design, said in an interview with a local Kurdish newspaper that they attended the fair like all the other hundred exhibitors to show visitors their projects, products and ser- vices.

“I think this year’s exhibition is more beautiful and different than last year exhibition and more types of plants are showcased,” Barzinji said.

Barzinji talked about his directorate’s participation and said, “We have made a lot of changes to our projects, and one can see the huge difference between last year and this exhibition.”

“I hope we can present better projects to Erbil and the world in the coming years. Our main objective is to decorate the capital of Kurdistan and attract the attention of foreign countries to our region.”
