Min­is­te­rial Coun­cil is­sues a state­ment on the La­bor Day

On the oc­ca­sion of the La­bor Day, 1st of May, which has be­come a uni­ver­sal oc­ca­sion for the la­bor­ers all around the world, the Min­is­te­rial Coun­cil of the Kur­dis­tan Re­gional Govern­ment is­sued a state­ment in which it con­grat­u­lates all la­bor­ers of the Kur­dis­tan Re­gion. On this oc­ca­sion, the KRG re­it­er­ates that, as part of its du­ties, it will con­tinue work­ing ac­cord­ing to its plans to pro­tect the rights of the work­ers and all the classes of the so­ci­ety who serve their com­mu­nity and Kur­dis­tan’s de­vel­op­ment and re­build­ing. Ad­di­tion­ally, the KRG con­firmed that it would con­tinue to pro­vide a work-friendly en­vi­ron­ment and cre­ate job op­por­tu­ni­ties as well as sup­port­ing work­ers in get­ting their rights and de­velop their skills and ex­per­tise in line with the tech­no­log­i­cal de­vel­op­ments. “Dur­ing the past few years the KRG has im­ple­mented nu­mer­ous projects for youths, univer­sity and in­sti­tute grad­u­ates and the un­em­ployed people. More­over, one of the pri­or­i­ties of the govern­ment has been to sup­port and co­op­er­ate with the pri­vate sec­tor, which plays a vi­tal role in the Re­gion's eco­nomic ac­tiv­i­ties and pro­duc­tion and cre­ates more job op­por­tu­ni­ties.““Once again we con­grat­u­late the la­bor­ers of Kur­dis­tan, Iraq and the whole world on this oc­ca­sion.”
