In a phone conversation, Kurdistan Regional Government’s Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani congratulated Yousif Mohammed Sadiq, the newly elected Speaker of the Kurdistan Region’s Parliament.

Barzani reiterated the need to protect the democratic achievements of the Region and the need for more coordination among the political blocs inside the parliament so that the stability and security will continue to grow in the Kurdistan Region. Kurdistan's free economy has improved. The economic development helps bring welfare for the ordinary citizen and the Kurdish people feel the existence of a viable policy to protect the common national achievements to date.

At the end of the conversation, Prime Minister hoped that the next four years become an example of joint work based on common interests, “since it seems that Kurdistan would face a lot of serious challenges.”

The Speaker of the Parliament, on the other hands, thanked the Prime Minister for the phone call and hoped the next stage will secure the victory and guarantee more services with the help of all the winning parties.
