Bri­tish Prime Min­is­ter ex­presses full sup­port for Pres­i­dent Barzani and the peo­ple of Kur­dis­tan

Dur­ing a tele­phone call with Kur­dis­tan Re­gion Pres­i­dent Mas­soud Barzani, Bri­tish Prime Min­is­ter David Cameron de­clared his full sup­port to­wards the bat­tle against Is­lamic mil­i­tants.

Mr. Barzani thanked Mr Cameron and said Kur­dis­tan is fight­ing against ter­ror­ists that seek to de­stroy democ­racy, while declar­ing Pesh­merga forces will fight to the last drop of blood.

Pres­i­dent Barzani ex­plained to the Bri­tish Prime Min­is­ter that af­ter na­tions an­nounced their sup­port, the peo­ple of Kur­dis­tan are full of con­fi­dence they will suc­ceed in de­feat­ing ISIS.

Pres­i­dent Barzani also stressed that the peo­ple of Kur­dis­tan do not need ground sup­port, as the Pesh­merga forces are fully ca­pa­ble of com­plet­ing the task, es­pe­cially af­ter re­ceiv­ing weaponry from al­lied states.

The Bri­tish Prime Min­is­ter was im­pressed by the prow­ess of the Pesh­merga and the strong will of Pres­i­dent Barzani’s stance against ter­ror­ism, and Mr. Cameron de­clared Bri­tain’s full sup­port, in terms of mil­i­tary and humanitarian as­sis­tance for the peo­ple of Kur­dis­tan.
