Kurdish Cultural Assembly in Mordaik-Netherlands

Since the 80s, the Kurdish poet and writer Latif Omar has been conducting various activities in Moerdijk Municipality for Kurdish refugees and their assimilation with the Dutch culture, and bringing closer the Kurdish artists and intellectuals with other refugees in the Dutch society by conducting activities in the cities of Netherlands. After the Assembly was founded, it has its own annual plan and activities, including seminars, meetings, Newroz celebration, children activities and various anniversaries. Due to his good personal relations with Moerdijik Municipality, it was easier for Latif Omar to conduct these activities.
