Bring Back Our Women Girls

The Kurdish Globe - - NEWS -

Under the name "Bring Back Our Girls and Women" social networks have been filled with posts sent by many Kurdish people demanding the rescue of kidnapped Yazidi girls from ISIS. Since the 3th of August, when the ISIS took control over Shingal, thousands of men have been killed and nearly 5.000 women have been abducted. The barbaric ISIS thugs treat the women and young girls in a very heinous ways. The ISIS beasts have sexually abused many of them. Some of the poor girls had not been able to accept such a shame and committed suicide. Some women and girls who had been able to escape from their captives give harrowing accounts of their treatment at the hands of ISIS thugs. Some even have been sold just like slaves.

The Kurds and people from all around the world have raised signs "Bring Back Our Girls and Women." People everywhere in solidarity with Yazidis have shown their sympathy and support.

More than 5.000 women and girls and 1.500 boys are prisoners now. They live in miserable conditions with no hope of freedom. Moreover, more than 6500 Yazidis are on the list of killed and lost ones since the at- tacks of ISIS. The other Yazidis who have survived from the mountain are now living spread in schools, unfinished buildings, gardens, camps, wedding halls and parks. Their situation worsens by day as the winter season is approaching.
