KRG spokesman visits Yashar Kamal
KRG Prime Minister Barzani reassures himself about the health of Kurdish writer Yashar Kamal.
KRG Prime Minister, Nechirvan Barzani, reassured himself about the health condition of the Turkish-Kurdish prominent writer Yashar Kamal, who is in a Turkish hospital, wishing him a speedy recovery.
A statement of the Presidency of the Regional Government received by "The Kurdishglobe", reads ” the official spokesman for the Government of Kurdistan Region, Safeen Dizayee, visited Tuesday the Kurdish writer Yashar Kamal in the hospital in order to check on his health, and was received by the wife of the author, Aisha Babani.
The statement said that Dizayee conveyed PM Barzani’s regards and greetings to the great writer and his family, and his wishes for a speedy recovery.
Yashar Kamal is one of the prominent Kurdish writers who have always defended the rights of the Kurdish people through novels and stories. He has sought to show the sufferings of the people of the world. He has translated his writings into several international languages. Yashar Kamal was one of the candidates to win the Noble prize in literature in the eighties of the last century.
