Mosul death rate exceeds 7,800
A Kurdistan Democratic Party official in Mosul says that since the invasion of Mosul by the Islamic State in June 10, 2014, a total of 7,823 people have been killed, including ISIS members and civil men, women and children.
Saeed Mamuzini, spokesperson of the KDP's 14th Branch said,"since June 10th, 2014 when the ISIS took over the city of Mosul to-date, our statistics show that a total of 7,823 people have been killed within the province's borders.”
"Out of this, a total of 6,790 were members of the ISIS, and 1,033 were civilian Kurds, Arabs, of both sexes and different ages.”
Mamuzini also added that the number of the Kurdish casualties is 350.
The KDP official also stated that their statistics show that in addition to the deaths, a total of 610 women are missing in the Province.
