Mo­sul death rate ex­ceeds 7,800

A Kur­dis­tan Demo­cratic Party of­fi­cial in Mo­sul says that since the in­va­sion of Mo­sul by the Is­lamic State in June 10, 2014, a to­tal of 7,823 peo­ple have been killed, in­clud­ing ISIS mem­bers and civil men, women and chil­dren.

Saeed Ma­muzini, spokesper­son of the KDP's 14th Branch said,"since June 10th, 2014 when the ISIS took over the city of Mo­sul to-date, our statis­tics show that a to­tal of 7,823 peo­ple have been killed within the prov­ince's bor­ders.”

"Out of this, a to­tal of 6,790 were mem­bers of the ISIS, and 1,033 were civil­ian Kurds, Arabs, of both sexes and dif­fer­ent ages.”

Ma­muzini also added that the num­ber of the Kur­dish ca­su­al­ties is 350.

The KDP of­fi­cial also stated that their statis­tics show that in ad­di­tion to the deaths, a to­tal of 610 women are miss­ing in the Prov­ince.
