Blind killing con­tin­ues in Khur­ma­too

Ter­ror­ist ac­tions and ex­plo­sions con­tinue rav­aging the town of Khur­ma­too, south of Kiruk. An­other man was blindly killed in the town on Wed­nes­day, March 11, 2015.

The vic­tim was a gov­ern­ment em­ployee.

Mo­hammed Fayaq, Direc­tor of Khur­ma­too Me­dia Of­fice told a lo­cal Kur­dish news web­site "this af­ter­noon, a group of armed men fired at a man called Zaid Is­mail near the public park­ing in Askari Quar­ter and killed him.”

Ac­cord­ing to Fayaq, Zaid was a Sunni Arab orig­i­nally from the nearby vil­lage of Hlewa and was an em­ployee at the Khur­ma­too Silo.

"The killers es­caped again,” Fayaq said. “No one has been ar­rested in re­la­tion to the crime.”

Re­cently, Sunni Arabs and Turmkans in Askari Quar­ter are be­ing mur­dered blindly, but no one has been ar­rested or con­victed in re­la­tion to th­ese cases.
