Blind killing continues in Khurmatoo
Terrorist actions and explosions continue ravaging the town of Khurmatoo, south of Kiruk. Another man was blindly killed in the town on Wednesday, March 11, 2015.
The victim was a government employee.
Mohammed Fayaq, Director of Khurmatoo Media Office told a local Kurdish news website "this afternoon, a group of armed men fired at a man called Zaid Ismail near the public parking in Askari Quarter and killed him.”
According to Fayaq, Zaid was a Sunni Arab originally from the nearby village of Hlewa and was an employee at the Khurmatoo Silo.
"The killers escaped again,” Fayaq said. “No one has been arrested in relation to the crime.”
Recently, Sunni Arabs and Turmkans in Askari Quarter are being murdered blindly, but no one has been arrested or convicted in relation to these cases.
