Over 700 fam­i­lies re­turn to Wanke

Head of Kur­dis­tan Demo­cratic Party (KDP) head­quar­ters in Wanke Town, Mus­lim Qas­sim Najm, said "Wanke town has be­come quiet and the ter­ror­ist ac­tiv­i­ties have fully van­ished. Peo­ple have al­ready started re­turn­ing to their homes."

Ac­cord­ing to Najm, over 700 fam­i­lies have gone back to their homes af­ter the town was re­taken by the Pesh­merga forces. The peo­ple are feel­ing safe and se­cured.
