The Director of Media of the 14th Branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in Mosul, Saeid Mamuzini, said that the Islamic State terrorists destroyed the ancient Assyrian village of Nimrud, south of Mosul.

Moreover, "Today [Monday, April 13, 2015], they received 151 dead bodies of their fighters, who were killed by Peshmarga forces and the coalition air strikes in different places in Mosul during the past two days,” Mamuzini told a local Kurd- ish media organization.

Furthermore, according to Mamuzini, ISIS has started a campaign to arrest ex- Iraqi army soldiers and officers. The terrorist organization has threatened those who will not come forward voluntarily. Anyone who will not register as soon as possible will be treated as a traitor.

“Till now, they have arrested a large number of them, including 52 only in Talaafar,” says the KDP official.
