50 ISIS ter­ror­ists killed in Mo­sul

A num­ber of Is­lamic State (ISIS) mem­bers were killed in the Mo­sul plain and other ar­eas around the city.

Saeid Ma­muzini, head of the me­dia of the Kur­dis­tan Demo­cratic Party’s (KDP) 14th branch in Mo­sul told the Kur­dish Globe that ISIS ter­ror­ists shot 13 of their Kur­dish mem­bers dead in Talaa­far, near Mo­sul.

Ac­cord­ing to the KDP of­fi­cial, those 13 men, one of them a leader called Abu Qadir Al Kurdi, were blamed for rais­ing Kur­dish flag in the town.

“Last week, the ISIS ter­ror­ists ini­ti­ated an attack on the Pesh­marga Forces in Bashik, but Pesh­marga re­sponded quickly and heav­ily and killed 20 ter­ror­ists,”Ma­muzini told the Globe. “Ad­di­tion­ally 18 were in­jured and the rest with­drew. Dur­ing the con­fronta­tions, 7 mil­i­tary ve­hi­cles of the group were burned, while Pesh­marga had no ca­su­al­ties dur­ing the con­flict.”

Ma­muzini also added that 34 Shabak Kur­dish fam­i­lies es­caped from ISIS con­trolled ar­eas in Up­per Khorsibati Vil­lage in Nawaran area and reached Pesh­marga forces, who wel­comed them warmely.

Ac­cord­ing to the KDP of­fi­cial, ISIS ar­rested 260 civil men in­side Mo­sul for re­fus­ing to join the ter­ror­ist group and fight against Pesh­marga forces.

Re­ports state that the 260 con­tain var­i­ous sects and groups, and ma­jor­ity of them are Arabs.
