50 ISIS terrorists killed in Mosul
A number of Islamic State (ISIS) members were killed in the Mosul plain and other areas around the city.
Saeid Mamuzini, head of the media of the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s (KDP) 14th branch in Mosul told the Kurdish Globe that ISIS terrorists shot 13 of their Kurdish members dead in Talaafar, near Mosul.
According to the KDP official, those 13 men, one of them a leader called Abu Qadir Al Kurdi, were blamed for raising Kurdish flag in the town.
“Last week, the ISIS terrorists initiated an attack on the Peshmarga Forces in Bashik, but Peshmarga responded quickly and heavily and killed 20 terrorists,”Mamuzini told the Globe. “Additionally 18 were injured and the rest withdrew. During the confrontations, 7 military vehicles of the group were burned, while Peshmarga had no casualties during the conflict.”
Mamuzini also added that 34 Shabak Kurdish families escaped from ISIS controlled areas in Upper Khorsibati Village in Nawaran area and reached Peshmarga forces, who welcomed them warmely.
According to the KDP official, ISIS arrested 260 civil men inside Mosul for refusing to join the terrorist group and fight against Peshmarga forces.
Reports state that the 260 contain various sects and groups, and majority of them are Arabs.
