Kurdistan Region presidency condemns Prsus attack
Kurdistan Region presidency issued a statement on July 20 condemning the attack in southern Turkish town of Pirsûs, in which at least 32 people were killed and up to 100 others were wounded.
The statement said, "Barzani strongly condemns that brutal act” in the predominantly Kurdish town, located across the Turkish-Syrian border from Kobane.
“Killing people and carrying out cruel acts mean the defeat of terrorists. We are sure terrorist acts like this will strengthen the will of people more,” the statement said.
The Kurdistan Parliament also condemned the attack, stating “Such acts will not weaken the will of the Kurdish people.”
