Liquor stores shut down in Bagh­dad

It's a fear that be­gan when in­sur­gents be­gan bomb­ing pri­mar­ily mi­nor­ity-owned liquor stores in the Iraqi cap­i­tal af­ter of­fi­cials re­scinded a law ban­ning the sale of al­co­hol.

The Iraqi In­te­rior Min­istry re­leased a state­ment say­ing: We are not against any­body to work, but the stores has to work ac­cord­ing to laws,"
